Job Description

The Microscopy Sales Representative will be remotely based in NJ or PA, serving as a resource for customers, identifying their needs through detailed discussions, and providing solutions using Evident equipment, including installation and training.

Job Duties
  • Provide demonstration and application notes to address customer needs and promote solutions.
  • Meet sales targets in the research microscopy and digital imaging marketplace.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives, marketing, dealers, and customers to achieve sales goals.
  • Prepare detailed quotations for customers.
  • Attend trade shows and local events as assigned.
  • Conduct major presentations explaining software and imaging products.
  • Understand key accounts and develop relationships with leading researchers.
  • Attend technical and sales training sessions.
  • Manage sample accounts and maintain CRM updates.
  • Develop specifications for bids and proficiency with Salesforce, Outlook, Concur, SAP, LMS, Elton software.
Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Science in Biomedical, Life Sciences, or Technical Science required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.

Experience: 1+ year as a Trainee or 1-2+ years in sales or product management/support.

Skills: Strong interpersonal and computer skills; willingness to travel, valid driver’s license, personal vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

Sales experience in Life Sciences or related technical industry; capital equipment sales preferred.
