Job summary

Oak Creek Golf Club is looking for a Practice Facility Attendant to operate and maintain the Practice Facility in Irvine, CA. You will work under supervision to ensure the facility remains the best in Orange County, supporting guest services, events, and daily operations.

The role requires at least one year in a customer-facing environment and a valid driver's license. You will assist guests, enforce policies, and maintain equipment, facilities, and safety standards while contributing to revenue

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a high profile, customer service environment.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Work with managers and employees to achieve guest-focused goals.
• Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Open/close procedures for the Tee, Landing Area, Teaching Professional and Building.
• Assist guests with purchases.
• Inspect practice range and golf school area daily.
• Set up hitting deck and prepare for arriving guests.
• Check bathrooms for cleanliness hourly and restock as needed.
• Maintain equipment used at the facility including washing pickers and carts.
• Keep exterior and parking lot clean and free of trash.
• Collaborate with Tournament Operations Coordinator for events and tournaments.
• Know and comply with safety standards and procedures.
• Promote programs and promotions to maximize revenue.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional.

Position Summary:

Oak Creek Golf Club is the home of a best in class Practice Facility. The Practice Facility Attendants are responsible for operating and maintaining the Practice Facility to ensure that the facility continues to be the best in Orange County. They will do so under the supervision of the Head Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professional, and or supervisor.

• Work with managers and employees to achieve common goals, objectives that meet or exceed guest expectations.
• Assist with enforcing company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform opening and closing procedure for the Tee, Landing Area, Teaching Professional and Building.
• Assist guest with purchases.
• Inspect practice range and golf school area daily.
• Retrieve golf balls out of rough when practical and safe.
• Set up hitting deck and insure that all items are placed properly and ready for arriving guests.
• Check bathrooms for cleanliness hourly and restock/clean as needed.
• Maintain equipment used at the facility including washing pickers and carts used daily.
• Keep exterior and parking lot of the practice facility clean and free of trash.
• Work closely with the Tournament Operations Coordinator and Assistant Golf Professionals to prepare for golf events and tournaments.
• Have complete knowledge of and comply with facility safety standards and procedures.
• Promote programs and promotions to maximize revenue.
• Any other special projects and duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

• Minimum one year experience in a high profile, customer service environment.
• Valid Driver's License.

• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations

Base Pay Range:$16.01 -$18.61

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
