Job summary

Harvest Moon Catering in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Rentals Associate to join our event-focused team. You will prepare inventory for deliveries, load items for events, and help maintain a safe, clean warehouse environment.

Weekend availability is required and a positive, proactive attitude is essential for top-tier client service. You will collaborate with Rentals and Operations to manage inventory, assist with various projects, and contribute to a high-energy hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50–80 lbs.
• Physically demanding work environment (no air conditioning, hot/cold conditions).
• Able to communicate routinely via phone, written lists, personal contact, and scheduling application.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inventory to satisfy daily orders and deliveries.
• Safely load in and out events based on rental picklists.
• Complete warehouse opening, operation, and closing procedures daily.
• Assist with cleaning and putting away rental inventory.
• Maintain all warehouse equipment in safe working condition.
• Support various tasks and projects as needed.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and provide exceptional client experiences and teamwork.

So What (Exactly) is a Rentals Associate?

The rentals associate is a vital part of our operation - working with the rentals and operations managers to maintain rental items and the facility. Responsibilities include accurately pulling and loading relevant inventory to be transported to and from events. You’ll also participate in projects to help keep our facility and rental items safe, clean, and in good working order.

• Prepare inventory to satisfy scheduled deliveries and pickups for daily orders
