Job summary

Wheeler Machinery Sales, Inc. is seeking a dependable Rental Yard Technician 1 to join our team in Utah. This physically demanding role supports servicing rental and low-maintenance equipment, maintains the yard and shop, and assists with delivery and installation efforts.

Qualifications

Commitment to following all safety compliance rules and regulations.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and outdoor work.
Willingness to work overtime and after hours as needed.
Experience in yard, warehouse, or equipment rental is a plus.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Assist with basic service and inspection of rental and low-maintenance equipment.
Wash and clean equipment returned from job sites.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and shop environment.
Perform general upkeep tasks such as sweeping, inventory organization, and waste disposal.
Help load and unload equipment for same-day or next-day deliveries.
Ensure equipment is secured and documented for transport.
Support field crews as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned
