Job summary

Wheeler Machinery Co. in Sandy, Utah, is seeking a Rental Services Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform quick turns, preventative maintenance, shipping/receiving, and washing of rental equipment to support faster machine availability.

The role requires basic machine maintenance knowledge, experience with multiple brands, and ability to work at heights up to 125 feet, including overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable with basic machine functions, maintenance, and operation.
• Experience working on equipment from Caterpillar, JLG, Genie, Broce, Multiquip, Husqvarna, Kenworth, and Freightliner.
• Able to work at heights up to 125 feet.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe accurate work.
• Maintain a clean work area and tooling.
• Fill out all required documentation for all scheduled tasks.
• Perform maintenance services, basic repairs and inspections on various makes such as Caterpillar, JLG, Genie, Broce, Multiquip, Husqvarna, Kenworth, Freightliner.
• Ship and receiving rental fleet, wash fleet, assist rental operations.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.
