Job summary

Gerken Rent-All & Waters Hardware is seeking a Rentals Yard Technician to join our outdoor operations in New York. You will prepare, inspect, load and unload rental equipment, and keep the yard clean, safe, and organized to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You'll work outdoors, operate forklifts when trained, and coordinate with deliveries and pickups. If you take pride in details, reliability, and helping customers, we'd like to meet you.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb and work safely throughout the workday.
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer equipment.
• Inspect equipment before and after every rental.
• Clean and fuel rental equipment.
• Stage equipment for upcoming reservations.
• Organize and maintain the rental yard.
• Assist with deliveries and pickups when qualified and assigned.

Job Summary
