Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Rental Yard Associate in the United States. You will help keep equipment clean and ready, load and unload items, and support delivery preparations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to stand for long periods. Prior experience is welcome but not required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, concrete, or debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Inspect rental equipment for damage and ensure it is in good, usable condition before rental.
• Prepare and stage rental orders to go out for delivery.
• Follow company safety policy and procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

A Rental Yard Associate at White Cap…

• Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, useable condition before it goes out to the customer.
• Inspects all rental equipment for damage.
• Reports any damage according to established procedure.
• Oils and lubricates all tools, equipment and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
• Prepares and stages rental orders to go out for delivery.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
• Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 0-2 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4 PM Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
