Job summary

White Cap in the United States is hiring a Rental Yard Associate to join our on-site team. You will help manage rental equipment, ensure it is ready for customers, and support daily yard operations in a fast-paced environment.

This role rewards reliability, safety, and teamwork, with 0–2 years of experience typical. Forklift experience is a plus, and candidates who speak Spanish are welcome.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a yard, warehouse, or customer-service role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products helpful.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Removes dirt and debris from rental equipment and area using hand tools.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, useable condition before dispatch.
• Inspects equipment for damage and reports as required.
• Oils and lubricates tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces as needed.
• Prepares and stages rental orders for delivery.
• Follows company safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, useable condition before it goes out to the customer.
• Inspects all rental equipment for damage. Reports any damage according to established procedure.
• Oils and lubricates all tools, equipment and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
• Prepares and stages rental orders to go out for delivery.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
• Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 0-2 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
