Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company in South Carolina is seeking a detail-oriented Yard Coordinator to oversee the movement and readiness of rental machines and attachments. You will coordinate inbound and outbound movements, document hours and fuel levels, verify manuals, and ensure units are clean, safe, and rental-ready.

Responsibilities include completing check-out and check-in processes, taking photos, noting damage, scheduling unit arrivals, organizing yard storage, and supporting loadouts

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process inbound and outbound movement of machines and attachments daily.
• Document machine hours and fuel level.
• Verify unit’s manual is present.
• Take pictures of each unit and note visible damage.
• Notify Service Department and Equipment Manager of any damage.
• Advise Equipment Manager of unit arrival and provide check-in information.
• Ensure unit is clean, safe and rental-ready.
• Park unit in appropriate area of the yard.
• Complete check-out process: verify equipment/serial against shipper, take pictures, confirm manual and attachments are present, assist with shipment loading.
• Utilize tablet for check-in and check-out processes.
• Locate and store machines and attachments neatly.
• Identify status of each unit and exercise units on the yard.
• Perform consignment inspections and manage RFID tracking on units.
• Provide information as requested by management.
• Other tasks as requested by leadership.

Job Summary

Coordinate machine and attachment activity. Ensure rental fleet machines and attachments are capable of a safe and successful rental.

Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating and processing both inbound and outbound movement of machines and attachments on a daily basis.

• Documentation of machine hours and fuel level
• Verification unit’s manual is present
• Take pictures of each unit – noting obvious damage
• Notify Service Department and Equipment Manager immediately of any damage identified on a unit

• Advise Equipment Manager of unit arrival – provide check-in information
• Ensure unit is clean, safe and rental ready
• Park unit in appropriate area of the yard

Responsible for completion of check-out process to include –

• Verification of equipment/serial number against shipper
• Take pictures of each unit
• Confirm manual is present
• Confirm appropriate attachment(s) are included
• Assist/load for shipment

Utilize tablet for both check-in and check-out processes.

Locate and store machines and attachments in a neat and organized manner.

Responsible for identifying status of each unit.

Exercise each unit on the yard periodically.

Perform consignment inspections.

Responsible to ensure yard and tracking devices are present and working on each unit (RFID).

Provide information when requested.

Other tasks as requested by management.

Education/Experience/Skills

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
