Job summary

Christy Sports in Colorado is seeking a Rental Supervisor to lead the Ski/Snowboard Rental Department and drive guest service excellence. You’ll supervise staff, train teammates, and manage inventory to maximize profitability while delivering best-in-class service.

With a strong ski/snowboard background and leadership experience, you’ll guide pricing, fittings, and DIN settings while ensuring a positive, high-energy guest experience. Competitive pay: $22-$26/hour plus commission.

Qualifications

• Strong ski and/or snowboard background.
• Prior leadership experience in ski / snowboard rental operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task.
• Experience with POS systems preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high guest service standards through personal behavior and leadership.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and industry trends.
• Ensure staff are trained with proper binding DIN setting practices.
• Ensure staff are trained with proper boot fitting.
• Ensure pricing is accurate and current, including promotions.
• Maintain store cleanliness standards.
• Assist store manager in payroll budget monitoring.
• Assist store manager in hiring, training, coaching, and staff development.
• Assist store manager in enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain required documentation.
• Open and close store in absence of manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary Description: Reporting to the Store Manager, this position is responsible for the management of the Ski / Snowboard Rental Department including staff supervision, training and inventory control to achieve the maximum profitability while providing the best-in-class guest service.

What You'll Be Doing:
