Ohio CAT in Ohio is seeking a Heavy Equipment Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems on heavy equipment. You will inspect, maintain, overhaul, and rebuild engines and components in a fast-paced CAT service environment.
Responsibilities include using CAT service information systems, reading wiring diagrams, completing accurate service reports, and working safely both independently and with a team. Day shift hours are 7am to 3:30pm.
Ohio CAT Heavy Equipment Service Technicians troubleshoot and repair general heavy equipment drive-train components, and electrical and hydraulic systems as well as safely perform normal machine repair. Responsibilities of this position include inspecting, repairing, maintaining, overhauling, and rebuilding engines and/or heavy equipment components.
Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling. Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
