Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a driven individual to join its Rental Management Trainee program in Grapevine, TX. This 18–24 month accelerated development path blends hands-on experience across Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales & Marketing to prepare you for a leadership role.

You’ll rotate through functions, learn to manage rental assets, drive revenue, and build teams while gaining exposure to the company’s extensive fleet operations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• 1+ year of customer service experience with issue resolution preferred.
• Intermediate computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Handle the sales process for inbound calls and outbound solicitation.
• Maintain current and accurate data within the marketing database.
• Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
• Manage all rental asset processes including vehicle PM and cleanliness standards.
• Meet overall Ryder market share by executing sales and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Reconcile customer concerns to grow relationships.
• On-call representative duties as scheduled by supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Handle the sales process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database
• Responsible for generating rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads
• Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle PM and cleanliness standards
• Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
• Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base

Additional Responsibilities

• On a voluntary basis as well as based on scheduling, the Rental Management Trainee will be required to perform the role of On‑Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor
• Performs other duties as assigned

Compensation Information

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type: Salaried

• Minimum Pay Range: 55,000
• Maximum Pay Range: 55,000
