ROLE IMPACT:

The Rental Sales Advisor delivers exceptional customer experiences by providing professional rental services, executing the Company's sales methodology, and ensuring accurate daily rental operations.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Rental Sales Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the rental process and plays a critical role in representing the Company's brands. This position delivers exceptional customer service while utilizing the Company's 6-Step Rental Process to identify customer needs, recommend value-added products and services, and create an outstanding rental experience. The Rental Sales Advisor accurately executes rental transactions, maintains operational accuracy, collaborates with cross-functional teams to support fleet availability, and contributes to the overall success of the station through professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Experience & Brand Representation

• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient service throughout every stage of the customer rental experience.
• Welcome customers, identify their transportation needs, and provide personalized rental solutions.
• Clearly explain rental agreements, policies, protection options, vehicle features, and return procedures to ensure customers understand their rental experience.
• Resolve routine customer questions and concerns professionally while escalating complex issues when appropriate.
• Represent the Company's brands with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Sales Excellence

• Consistently execute the Company's 6-Step Rental Process to deliver a consultative, customer-focused sales experience.
• Recommend optional products, services, protection products, and vehicle upgrades that enhance the customer's rental experience while supporting Company revenue objectives.
• Achieve established sales performance expectations while maintaining ethical sales practices and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Continuously develop product knowledge, communication skills, and sales techniques to improve individual performance.

Rental Operations & Fleet Coordination

• Accurately prepare rental agreements and ensure customer information is complete, accurate, and properly documented.
• Maintain accurate vehicle status information and rental data within Company systems.
• Coordinate with Fleet Services and other operational departments to support timely vehicle availability, dispatch, and returns.
• Report vehicle damage, maintenance concerns, and operational issues in accordance with Company procedures.
• Assist with vehicle movement and other operational support activities as business needs require.

Teamwork, Compliance & Operational Excellence

• Maintain compliance with Company policies, operating procedures, and brand standards.
• Collaborate effectively with coworkers across departments to support efficient station operations and deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, accountability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in training, coaching, and continuous learning opportunities to strengthen sales performance, operational knowledge, and customer service skills.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, travel, automotive rental, or sales experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and recommend solutions that meet their needs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn Company operating systems, including rental management, fleet management, and workflow software.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Must possess and maintain a valid, unexpired driver's license.
• Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
