Job summary

All American Lumber INC in Sparta, WI is seeking a mechanically inclined Rental Department Team Member to manage daily operations of the rental desk. You will handle check-in/check-out, assist customers and vendors, and coordinate maintenance and repairs of rental equipment.

This role requires problem solving, strong communication, and a proactive attitude to help people and keep equipment in top condition while promoting the sale of used rentals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Experience with preventative maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, electric, and diesel equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Are you mechanically inclined with hydraulic, electric, and diesel equipment/tools, and have experience with multiple types of outside equipment. Are you good with customers and vendors? If so, this may be the job for you!

Our team member is responsible for the entire day-to-day operations of the rental department including seeing to the needs of our customers and our internal customers. This position leads all checking in and out of rented equipment. This team member is also responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs on all the rental equipment and sales of equipment that is ready to be sold.

Essential Functions

• Loading/Unloading of rental equipment
• Maintaining & Cleaning rental equipment
• Provide excellent customer service
• Answering customers’ questions pertaining to rental equipment
• Answering customers’ questions by providing information on company policies
• Lead the selling of used rental equipment & performing other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements

Job Qualifications

• Education Qualifications- Prefer High School diploma
• Experience with preventative maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, electric, and diesel equipment/tools is highly preferred
• Skills- Problem solver, detail-oriented, excellent communication and customer service skills, actively looks for ways to help people
