You’ll receive hands-on training across Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales & Marketing — gaining the full toolkit you need to step into a leadership role with confidence. **What You’ll Experience**Over 18–24 months, you’ll build expertise across every core area of the business:* Finance – Understand the P&L drivers behind a high-performing rental operation* Operations – Manage rental assets, vehicle PM standards, and day-to-day location performance* Sales & Marketing – Drive revenue through inbound sales, outbound solicitation, and lead generation for rental, lease, and used vehicle sales* Human Resources – Learn how to build, develop, and lead a team* Customer Relationship Management – Resolve customer concerns and grow a loyal customer base* Compliance & Regulatory – Ensure alignment with company, local, state, and federal requirements **Essential Functions*** Handling the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation* Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database* Responsible for generating rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads* Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle Pm and cleanliness standards* Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing the sales and marketing initiatives* Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies* Reconcile all customer concerns, issues and disputes in order to maintain the ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base**Additional Responsibilities*** On a voluntary basis as well as based on scheduling, the Rental Management Trainee will be required to perform the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Skills and Abilities*** Strong verbal and written communication skills* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment* High energy, self motivated, self directed person who is able to focus on multiple projects and activities simultaneously and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment* Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)* Ability to work independently and as a member of a team* Detail oriented with strong follow-up practices* Possess a high degree of common sense and the aptitude to learn quickly* Ability to relocate in the region/US at the conclusion of the training program* Must be computer literate intermediate required**Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree required business administration or similar related degree* One (1) year or more customer service with issues resolution experience preferred* Must be computer literate intermediate required**Travel** None **DOT Regulated** No**Job Category**Operations and Support**Our Culture & Commitment**:At Ryder, you’re trusted to make an impact—while enjoying room to grow and having a voice that’s heard.
