Job summary

Ferguson in Midland, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to manage rental fleet inventory, coordinate with sales and customers, and support regional operations using Power BI and Excel.

The role requires 1+ year of sales experience, mechanical inclination, and strong communication. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with pay starting at $22 per hour and market potential based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years sales experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined.
• HDPE & McElroy knowledge preferred.
• Inventory Management for Rental Fleet.
• Data Analysis & Forecasting.
• Teamwork, Problem Solving and Detail-Oriented.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Computer, tablet and mobile device proficiency.
• Microsoft Office suite familiarity (Outlook, Power BI, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Access, Word).
• FEL’s inventory and logistics system (Trilogie) familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Delivers rental fleet inventory management day-to-day via Power BI monitoring.
• Delivers inventory support to specific regions and customers.
• Completes complex or new tasks and assists sales with technical knowledge.
• Has a mechanical sense to repair and upkeep rental fleet.
• Collaborates with field sales, Category Management, customers and partners.
• Applies inventory control measures to monitor rental fleet.
• Uses Outlook, Teams, Excel and other platforms to communicate solutions.
