Job summary

Warren CAT in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Rental Field Technician I to provide high-quality repair service on equipment and respond to customer needs promptly. You will complete jobs, handle paperwork, and perform diagnostics and repairs with minimal supervision.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain necessary licenses or certifications. CDL is preferred, and flexibility with schedules is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 years related experience or training.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to obtain licenses/certificates/registrations.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics.
• Complete related paperwork and access required databases (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW).
• Remove/install parts; disassemble/assemble components; test/adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Provide accurate information to management for quoting.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems; recommend repairs; perform rentals/engine repairs and adjustments.
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Apply general failure analysis to determine proper diagnosis.
