Job summary

Avis Budget Car Rental is seeking a Rental Sales Advisor to serve as the primary contact for customers throughout the rental process and to represent the brands with professionalism.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional service using the 6-Step Rental Process, identifying customer needs, and recommending value-added products to enhance the rental experience while contributing to station success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, travel, automotive rental, or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and provide solutions that meet customer needs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional service at every stage of the rental experience.
• Identify customer needs and provide personalized rental solutions.
• Explain rental agreements, policies, protection options, vehicle features and return procedures.
• Resolve routine questions and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Accurately prepare rental agreements and maintain complete, accurate customer information.
• Coordinate with fleet services to support vehicle availability and timely returns.
• Maintain compliance with policies and support seamless station operations.
