Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and diesel systems.
• Ability to read service manuals and follow inspection checklists.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and outgoing rental equipment for damage or maintenance needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet equipment.
• Document inspection findings and repair actions in the system.
• Ensure safety decals and documentation are properly applied to equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the rental yard, shop, and tools.
• Coordinate with parts and rental operations for timely turnaround.
• Conduct operational checks and test runs to verify repairs.
• Load, unload, and stage equipment for delivery or pickup.
• Alert supervisors to upcoming service intervals or recurring issues.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA regulations, and equipment guidelines.
