Job summary

DPR Construction, through OES Equipment, is hiring a Service and Repair Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair rental equipment. The role supports both shop-based and limited field service, ensuring gear is Ready to Rent and compliant with safety standards.

The candidate will work with branch and operations teams to prioritize repairs and may assist with field service as needed. A High School diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of equipment service or repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel-powered rental equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance and follows OEM service schedules.
• Documents diagnostics, labor, parts, and repair outcomes in work orders.
• Maintains safety compliance with OSHA standards and PPE usage.
• Assists with parts ordering, stock management, and inventory.
