Job summary

OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a Service and Repair Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair rental equipment to ensure safety and reliability.

The role supports shop-based and limited field service, restores equipment to Ready to Rent, and collaborates with branch leadership to prioritize repairs. A High School diploma/GED is required and 3-5 years experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in equipment service, repair, or related mechanical field.
• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel-powered rental equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance and OEM-recommended service schedules.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and escalates complex failures as needed.
• Generates and closes work orders documenting diagnostics, labor, parts usage and repair outcomes.
• Maintains OSHA and site safety standards, proper PPE use.
• Assists with parts ordering, stock management and inventory organization.
• Collaborates with branch staff to prioritize repairs based on fleet demand.
