The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and experience in heavy equipment or diesel repair; technical school preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical school emphasis on diesel engine preferred.
• Heavy equipment, engine, or mechanic repair experience.
• 1+ years administrative/clerical experience.
• 1+ years customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Learns and uses the work order system; completes documents and parts orders accurately.
• Works with shop team and accepts advice from more experienced colleagues.
• Communicates with Shop Leads, Coordinators and Managers on repair status.
• Maintains safety practices and keeps work area clean.
• Inspects equipment and ensures safe operation per procedures.
• Reads and follows manufacturer manuals for each machine type.
• Assists in rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
