Job summary

Wagner CAT Rentals (Sales) is seeking a Rental Diesel Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on rental equipment. The role involves using the work order system, coordinating with shop staff, and ensuring repairs meet manufacturer specifications.

• Strong customer service experience
• Administrative/clerical experience
• Experience with heavy equipment repair
• Diesel engine knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Learn and use the work order system and complete all repair documents
• Communicate with shop leads and managers on problems and status
• Follow safety practices and maintain workspace
• Read and understand equipment manuals and comply with specs
• Inspect equipment and ensure safe operation
• Assist in rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining equipment
• Attend trainings as requested
• Perform yard duties and assist with loading/unloading equipment
