Audi Dominion, a Cavender Auto Family dealership, is hiring a Rental Car Associate to join our team and help Make Confidence Happen every day. If you enjoy helping customers and delivering great service, you'll feel right at home here.

We offer $18.00 per hour for full-time work (40 hours), benefits including medical/dental/vision and pet insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and life insurance, plus employee discounts and quarterly training to support your growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Valid drivers license is required.
• 1 year or more of Rental Car experience is preferred.
• MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Flexibility to work Monday - Saturday 7 am - 7 pm.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and discuss rental requirements.
• Compute charges for rentals and process payments.
• Answer phones and provide information on rentals.
• Explain rental fees, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare rental forms with signatures and required info.
• Maintain detailed records of transactions and customer data.
• Reserve items and manage vehicle rentals and returns.
• Advise customers on use and care of vehicles.

Here is what you will be doing:

• Greet customers and discuss the type, quality and quantity of merchandise sought for rental.
• Compute charges for rentals or services and receive payments.
• Answer telephones to provide information and receives orders.
• Provide information about rental items, such as availability, operation, or description.
• Rent vehicles, arrange for provision of services to customers and accept returns.
• Inspect and adjust rental items to meet needs of customer.
• Explain rental fees, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare rental forms, obtaining customer signature and other information, such as required licenses.
• Keep detailed records of transactions and customer information.
• Reserve items for requested times and keep records of vehicles rented.
• Recommend and provide advice on a wide variety of products and services.
• Receive orders for services, such as rentals, repairs.
• Prepare merchandise for display for rental.
• Advise customers on use and care of vehicles.
• Receive, examine and assess damage on vehicle to be altered, cleaned, stored, or repaired.

Here is what you will need:

• High School Diploma/GED is required
• Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license
• Energetic, motivated, enthusiastic dependable individual seeking an opportunity to succeed
• 1 year or more of Rental Car experience
• Flexibility to work Monday - Saturday 7 am - 7 pm
• Proper email and telephone etiquette
• Must be comfortable with public communication
