Job summary

Action Behavior Centers is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant in Austin, TX, to own the rent payment process and support ASC 842 month-end close. You will collaborate with Real Estate and Lease Administration, ensure accurate landlord payments, and maintain organized documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 1–2 years of related experience with ASC 842 knowledge. This hybrid position offers competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in rent management with multi-site experience (ASC 842).
• Proficiency in accounting/expense software (NetSuite, LeaseQuery, Zoho, Airbase, Ramp) and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the monthly rent check run and ensure accurate landlord payments.
• Collaborate with Real Estate & Lease Administration to gather lease terms and payment schedules.
• Enter lease data into accounting software and prepare month-end journal entries per ASC 842.
