Impact RTO Holdings is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager in Garden City to develop into Store Manager. You’ll run daily activities alongside the Store Manager and help drive sales, inventory, and customer service in a high-volume Rent-A-Center environment.

You’ll start with $18.25/hour (experience-based) and enjoy benefits, paid time off, and a clear path to Store Manager training as you perform at or above targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service in retail, hospitality, or similar environments.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and motivation to lead others.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 1 year.
• Ability to lift heavy items and complete physical tasks.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist store team in sales, inventory, delivery, and service with a smile.
• Drive store revenue by meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Manage inventory and ensure accurate cash reconciliation.
• Deliver excellent customer experiences through greeting, assistance, and issue resolution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
• Contribute to social media/marketing content as needed to support initiatives.
• Assist with product deliveries, setup, service and returns.
• Support the Store Manager in all operational duties.

What You’ll Do

You will run the day-to-day alongside your Store Manager, with real ownership over results:

• Assist fellow store team members in sales, inventory, delivery, and service with a smile
• Drive store revenue by consistently hitting and surpassing company sales targets
• Manage store inventory and ensure accurate cash reconciliation
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience such as: greeting, assisting, and resolving issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom
• Occasionally participate in the creation of social media and marketing content, including photos and videos, as requested to support Company initiatives.
• Assist with product deliveries, setup, service, and returns as needed
• Support the Store Manager in all operational duties

What We Are Looking For

• Sales or customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or similar — all count)
• A positive, motivated attitude and a desire to lead
• Valid, physical driver’s license held for at least 1 year
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as part of the role
• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
