Job summary

Main Street Renewal is seeking a Renovation Superintendent to independently inspect properties, prepare repair bids, and lead all rehab activities to MS Renewal standards. You will oversee vendors, manage timelines, and ensure quality work while delivering strong customer service to residents in the Nashville area.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, code knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Local travel to properties is expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of residential construction/maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building and property management codes.
• Excellent communication and reading skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including Outlook and Excel.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and prepare repair bids to MS Renewal standards.
• Oversee rehab work and manage vendors/contractors.
• Schedule and oversee all construction activities with vendors.
• Ensure quality work and timely completion of repairs.
• Recommend contractor changes and vendor updates when needed.
• Perform maintenance repairs on occupied properties and assist residents.
