Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction trade standards, codes, regulations, and laws.
• Ability to direct work, lead teams, and negotiate personnel challenges.
• Read and interpret contracts, manuals, schematics, and blueprints; assess scope.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracts with contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Plan, design, schedule, and estimate construction projects and renovations.
• Develop specifications by researching vendor data and applicable codes.
• Prepare project contract documents including change orders and addendums.
• Meet with requesters, interpret feasibility requests, and prioritize projects.
• Assist in developing reports, plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Keep projects current in FPDC and prepare plan review documents.
• Coordinate activities of contractors and campus resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
