Job summary

KH Properties is seeking an experienced Construction Carpenter to support renovation projects across multifamily apartment communities, primarily in Mississippi. The role emphasizes hands-on work in carpentry, plumbing, demolition, finish work, and general construction with no supervisory duties.

You will join a dependable team delivering move-in ready homes, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to quality workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on residential construction experience.
• Strong carpentry skills with framing, drywall, trim, doors and cabinets.
• Experience with plumbing repairs and troubleshooting optional but helpful.
• Ability to read project plans and work from scopes or supervisor guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drain cleaning, minor sewer repairs and plumbing troubleshooting.
• Perform rough and finish carpentry including framing, trim, doors, cabinets and remodeling.
• Support demolition, flooring, painting and other renovations as needed.
• Operate construction equipment when required and maintain a clean, safe site.
• Follow project plans and uphold safety standards on site.
