Job summary

KH Properties in Jackson, Mississippi is expanding its construction team and seeking experienced carpenters to support active multifamily renovation projects. Two framing/balcony carpenters and two finish carpenters are needed. Work on frame walls, decks, balconies, cabinets, doors, trim, and final move-in ready finishes.

This is a hands-on, non-supervisory role in a fast-paced jobsite environment. Candidates should have residential carpentry experience, reliable transportation, ability to lift

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in residential construction or multifamily renovation.
• Ability to perform framing, balcony work, and interior finish carpentry.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and structural carpentry on multifamily renovation projects.
• Frame walls, openings, decks, balconies, and other wood structures per plans.
• Repair or replace damaged framing, decking, joists, railings, stairs, and exterior components.
• Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and install lumber and building materials accurately.
• Demolition and removal of damaged materials prepping for rebuilds.
• Finish carpentry including cabinets, doors, trim, baseboards, molding, drywall repairs.
• Complete punch lists and final construction details for move-in ready apartments.
• Safely use tools and equipment; maintain quality and safety on site.
