Job summary

Rocky Brands, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Support role at its Sparks, NV distribution center. The position supports the Distribution Center Management Team by scheduling inbound containers, completing FTZ documentation, and reconciling inventory with inbound records.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm, with an hourly pay of $24. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping merchandise, plus FTZ security checks and routine reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years of distribution or warehousing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PKMS Warehouse Management System.
• Ability to operate all material handling equipment.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts during absences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments.
• Check-in containers and preform necessary FTZ security checks.
• Report any discrepancies between actual receipts and documentation.
• Follow up on any “Go Orders” to ensure issues are resolved.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Maintain and report any factory miss packs.
• Backup for critical roles on “the floor” to assure continuity during absences.
• Ensure all products are accounted for and moved to appropriate area.
• Monitor inventory issues throughout the facility and report problems to shift inventory clerk.
• Maintain MSDS books.

Summary

Assist the Distribution Center Management Team in accomplishing department objectives by scheduling inbound containers, filling out all necessary Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) documents, reporting any anomalies and discrepancies between actual inventory and inbound documentation, receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping merchandise.

Shift Hours

Monday - Friday 6:30am- 3:00pm

Hourly Rate of Pay

$24/hour

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts during absences.
• Ability to work in variant internal and external climate temperatures and low lighting.
• Good depth perception.
• Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
