Job summary

Rocky Brands is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to support inbound container scheduling, FTZ documentation, and discrepancies between receipts and paperwork. You will help receive, store, inventory and prepare shipments in a fast-paced warehouse.

This full-time, on-site role offers a Monday through Friday shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm with an hourly rate of $24. You will operate material handling equipment, use PKMS and MS Office, and uphold safety standards while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Two to three years of distribution or warehousing experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• MS Office and PKMS Warehouse Management experience required.
• Ability to operate all material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments.
• Check-in containers and perform necessary FTZ security checks.
• Report discrepancies between receipts and documentation.
• Follow up on Go Orders to resolve issues.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Maintain and report factory miss packs.
• Backup for critical roles to ensure continuity on the floor.
• Ensure all products are accounted for and moved to the correct area.
• Monitor inventory issues and report to shift inventory clerk.
• Maintain MSDS books.

Summary

Assist the Distribution Center Management Team in accomplishing department objectives by scheduling inbound containers, filling out all necessary Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) documents, reporting any anomalies and discrepancies between actual inventory and inbound documentation, receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping merchandise.

Shift Hours

Monday - Friday 6:30am- 3:00pm

Hourly Rate of Pay

$24/hour

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of distribution or warehousing experience.
• Intermediate level of skill in Microsoft Office Suite applications and PKMS Warehouse Management system.
• Ability to operate all material handling equipment.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts during absences.
• Ability to work in variant internal and external climate temperatures and low lighting.
• Good depth perception.
• Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
