You will play a critical role in protecting and growing Asana's customer base by proactively managing renewal risk, demonstrating customer value, and driving timely contract execution.

This role is based in our Tokyo office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Tuesday, Thursday and one additional day of choice, which may be determined by your team. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on the two other weekdays they are not in office. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.

  • Negotiate and execute renewal contracts that align with customer goals in partnership with Finance and Legal.

  • Engage with at-risk customers and develop prescriptive strategies to mitigate potential churn and improve retention.

  • Communicate renewal risk clearly, take the lead in developing resolution strategies, and escape wherever appropriate.

  • Discover and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during the renewal process to maximize customer growth.

  • Maintain and report an accurate 90-120-day rolling forecast of renewals and proactively manage risks and opportunities within the forecast.

  • Track and contribute to key business outcomes, including Renewal Rate, Net Retention Rate (NRR), renewal attainment, and expansion.

  • Maintain accurate customer and renewal information in Salesforce and other relevant systems.

  • Assist with enhancing and improving systems, tools, and processes to increase team efficiency and scalability.
