ACCIONA Energía, a leading renewable energy company, seeks a Renewables Technician to support daily operations at EcoGrove Wind Farm and High Point PV Facility in Illinois. You will maintain wind and solar systems, perform troubleshooting, and support safety and emergency training.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork, with progression opportunities and a competitive benefits package. Candidates should be prepared for rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Able to climb up to 300 feet and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work indoors/outdoors in extreme weather.
• Independent worker on rotating shifts, including nights.
• Valid driver's license; respond to emergencies within 45 minutes.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Passport.
• Qualified to work on medium/high voltage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on wind turbines, solar arrays, storage systems.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot site equipment.
• Support root cause analyses and safety activities.
• Maintain documentation for preventive/corrective tasks.
• Crosstrain with other technicians; support both technologies.
• Maintain tools, PPE, and site areas in good condition.
