Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Renewables Technician to support daily operations at EcoGrove Wind Farm and High Point PV Facility in Illinois. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines, solar arrays, storage, and substations, ensuring safe and efficient operation across both technologies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 2 years of related experience, ability to climb up to 300 feet, lift up to 50 lbs, and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
Minimum 2 years of related experience in renewable or industrial maintenance.
Able to climb tall structures and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines, solar arrays, battery storage, and substation equipment.
Conduct electrical switching operations on equipment up to 345kV.
Inspect, test, and monitor site equipment to identify abnormal conditions.
Support root cause analyses and adhere to safety protocols.
