What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Identify, research, and site land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects
2. Manage all initiatives related to site acquisition, financing, and development of projects, including RFP responses
3. Negotiate site control agreements with landowners for utility-scale renewable and energy storage projects
4. Support development activities for ongoing projects with an emphasis on tax abatement, permitting, and environmental compliance

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. 3-5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, energy storage, battery storage, LNG, and/or natural gas
2. Extensive hands-on experience with real estate transactions and contracts in the renewables, natural gas, LNG, or energy storage sector
3. Strong understanding of the RFP/RFI process related to project development
4. Proficient in project siting, permitting, prospecting, and due diligence for renewable projects
5. Excellent communication skills essential for efficiency in this role

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Experience with energy storage, battery storage, or solar + storage projects
2. Familiarity with land negotiations and project financing initiatives
