Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation seeks a Project Controller II to manage project setup, progress reporting, cost control, forecasting, and closeout. You will actively develop others and ensure alignment of schedule with scope and revenue goals.

Travel up to 100% may be required; strong expertise in Excel, Primavera, and job costing is essential for success. This role emphasizes collaboration across business units in a dynamic renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Project Controls, Project Management.
• 2-5 years of Project Control experience in Construction required; preference for Solar/renewable.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Primavera and/or MS Project, Ecosys, Viewpoint, and Document Control programs.
• Effective communication (oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Understands job costing; reads prints and contracts; knowledge of federal/state codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform and execute project controls functions.
• Understand project budget, schedule and KPIs.
• Monitor self-perform construction, cost coding, progress measurement and project health.
• Lead establishing project phase codes and budgets in the accounting system.
• Ensure schedule aligns with scope, execution plan, and revenue goals.
• Monitor performance against baseline; support recovery when trends worsen.
