You will coordinate with legal and development teams, manage third-party brokers, and travel to close acquisitions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in land acquisition or renewables, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in GIS/SAP tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, environmental science or related field.
• 3+ years in land acquisition, real estate, land management, or renewables preferred.
• Knowledge of land-use regulations, permitting, and real estate law.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute a comprehensive land acquisition strategy aligned with renewable energy project goals.
• Identify land parcels for development through market analysis and site assessments.
• Negotiate land acquisitions via leasing/purchase agreements and easements.
• Collaborate with legal to structure compliant land agreements.
• Perform due diligence including title searches and environmental assessments.
• Build relationships with landowners, communities, and authorities.
• Travel as required to close acquisitions and foster stakeholder relations.
• Develop budgets and monitor land acquisition expenses.
