Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Utility Interconnection Project Manager with Renewable Energy experience to support growth of clean energy resources on our electric system. The UIPM coordinates customers seeking to connect renewables and DERs, developing interconnection agreements and supporting DSS RFP initiatives.

Hybrid work (50% on-site, 50% remote) in WA; 12-month contract with potential extension/conversion. Responsibilities include managing Tier 3 interconnections and collaborating with customers,

Qualifications

• Must reside in WA and be willing to undergo drug testing on onboarding.
• Minimum of 3 years utilities experience with utility interconnection exposure preferred.
• Renewable energy knowledge is a huge plus.
• Experience with SAP and/or PowerClerk is a huge plus.
• Experience interpreting interconnection requirements, tariffs and technical criteria.
• Understanding of distribution system operations and grid modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex renewable energy interconnection projects from application through interconnection agreements.
• Coordinate with customers, developers, consultants, and internal engineering to facilitate project completion.
• Support interconnection initiatives including BESS, solar, microgrids and other DERs.
