Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Capital Projects (Renewables) Cost Analyst in The Woodlands, TX, hybrid work model. The role partners with project teams to support 10–15+ new generation renewables projects averaging $350M. Key duties include budgeting, scenario modeling, funding documentation, and monthly forecast analyses.

Minimum education is a BS in Finance/Accounting/PM/Construction Mgmt with 2+ years renewables utility project experience for Analyst II; more for Sr. roles.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Project Management, Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years renewables or utility project experience for Analyst II
• 4-6 years renewables or 3+ years utility project experience for Analyst III
• 6+ years renewables or utility project experience for Analyst Sr.
• Capital project cost analysis and development experience with owner/contractor.
• Understanding of contracting structures and commercial agreements.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of cost, schedule and risk alignment.

Responsibilities

• Support project development by establishing cost baselines and creating forecasting models.
• Analyze accrual vs spend and contribute to stage gate & funding deliverables.
• Understand contracting structures and commercial agreements.
• Ensure forecast aligns with project schedule milestones.
• Identify cost risks and opportunities throughout the life cycle.
• Use cost tools to perform monthly analyses and prepare presentations.
• Maintain documentation for ROD, prudency reviews, PSC filings and related processes.
