Job summary

Repsol is seeking a Capital Equipment Procurement Intern for a 12-week summer program in Downtown Houston, running May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027. You will collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Construction, and Project Management teams to support sourcing and supplier relations.

The role offers hands-on experience with capital equipment for renewable energy projects, and exposure to RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluations, and procurement documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Strong interest in procurement, supply chain management, capital projects, or renewable energy industries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement team in sourcing and procuring capital equipment for renewable energy projects.
• Assist in development and execution of sourcing strategies for major equipment purchases and long-lead items.
• Conduct market research to identify qualified equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers.
