Job summary

Repsol SA is seeking a motivated Origination Intern for our 12-week summer program in Downtown Houston. You will join the Commercial team to identify, evaluate, and advance renewable energy opportunities, supporting market research, data analysis, and reporting.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Economics, Business Admin, Energy Commerce, or related field, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and a passion for energy markets.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret market, commercial, and operational data.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Interest in renewable energy markets, origination, business development, or commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

Support Origination team in identifying, evaluating, and advancing commercial opportunities for renewable energy projects.
Assist in market research and analysis of renewable energy, power, and environmental markets.
Support development and maintenance of commercial pipelines, customer databases, and market intelligence resources.
Assist in analyzing customer energy usage and pricing structures for commercial requirements.
Prepare commercial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
