Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, through WECTEC Staffing Services, seeks a Renewables Project Engineer – Wind. The role supports capital and reliability projects across wind facilities, focusing on wind operations and project leadership from planning through execution.

The position is hybrid in Minneapolis, with four days in the office and one day remote per week, plus occasional travel to wind farms across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa.

Qualifications

• Experience with project management or project coordination.
• Familiarity with project management and business systems.
• Ability to visit active operating facilities and construction sites.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital, reliability, and equipment improvement projects from development through execution.
• Support wind generation facilities and coordinate fleet-wide projects across multiple sites.
• Lead planned and emergent projects, involving mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, scopes, and execution plans.
• Manage project financials, purchasing, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, engineering resources, operations teams, and reliability personnel.
• Travel to wind farms and project sites as needed.
