Job summary

Invenergy, North America’s largest privately held developer, owner, and operator of power infrastructure, is seeking an Associate, Renewable Development to support utility-scale wind projects across the United States. You will advance projects, identify prospects, craft pricing, secure site control, obtain permits, and coordinate stakeholder communications while contributing to budgeting and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of renewable/clean energy experience.
• Strong organizational, networking, leadership, time management and accounting skills.
• Strong public speaking and report-writing abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Advance wind/solar project developments within the United States.
• Identify development prospects, including market assessments and site reconnaissance.
• Develop pricing strategies and manage resource assessment processes.
• Secure site control and negotiate leases/easements with landowners.
• Evaluate and track power market trends.
• Coordinate landowner communication efforts.
• Lead permitting efforts at local, state and federal levels.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with stakeholders.
• Initiate and manage interconnection activities.
• Assist project budgeting and scheduling.
• Manage tasks according to budgets and schedules with internal and external technical support.
