Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking a Portfolio Optimization Manager to advance pipeline opportunities from feasibility to implementation. You will collaborate with Digital Transformation to leverage project data for storytelling and analytics.

The role requires 5+ years in energy development, strong financial modeling, and experience with renewables. Hybrid work with 3 days on-site in San Diego, CA or Houston, TX, offering competitive bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or JD preferred).
5+ years of progressive project engineering/management experience in energy development, with emphasis on utility-scale renewable projects.
Deep expertise in CapEx/OpEx budgeting, project valuations, tax equity markets, financial modeling and due diligence/M&A.
Certifications such as PMP/PMI, ERP, or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

Support development and implementation of project pipeline and pricing processes across regions.
Coordinate costing assumptions with Development, SME support, Implementation, O&M, and Generation teams.
Provide validated costing inputs to Valuation & Analytics in a timely manner.
Identify key milestones (Investment Approvals, Capitalization, FID) and coordinate transitions to Implementation PM before FID.
Lead or co-lead cross-departmental due diligence for external M&A opportunities.
Develop data visualization tools to support analytical storytelling (Tableau).
