Job summary

Blattner Energy in Minnesota invites students to join its Summer 2027 Internship Program. You'll assist with daily data collection, subcontractor coordination, equipment management, and field activities on active construction sites.

Relocation to project sites for 12 weeks, mentoring from engineers, and opportunities to build client relations and practical skills in construction management, civil/industrial engineering, and related fields.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a two-year or four-year degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Must relocate to the project site for the 12-week internship.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Willingness to work in dirt, heat, noise, dust, and trailer-office environments.
• Strong communication, organization and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production and safety data collection.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
• Assist with project equipment management and inventory.
• Attend weekly meetings with engineers, subcontractors, and owner reps.
• Engage in field activities to gain craft exposure.
• Assist in preparing meeting agendas (Plan of the Day, Monthly Managers).
• Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors and team members.
