Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Field Intern to join our field and office survey team.

You will support boundary, topographic, and construction surveys for utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects, applying surveying coursework to real-world renewable energy infrastructure. The role emphasizes fieldwork with travel opportunities, equipment operation under supervision, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Surveying, Engineering Technology or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Crew Chief in operating a field survey crew.
• Maintain safety and equipment, collect field data, and locate features.
• Record accurate surveying notes.
• Willingness to travel for 2–3 weeks at a time.
• Walk in diverse terrain and extreme weather.
• Set stakes and clear brush as needed.
• Follow Safety, Quality Management and Equipment Maintenance policies.
