Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science with business/finance experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience or internship in energy project finance.
• Demonstrated teamwork, integrity, and motivation in a collaborative culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Detail-oriented, rigorous, and creative with problem solving.
• Advanced Excel skills and project finance modeling experience.
• Experience creating reusable Excel templates rather than single-use spreadsheets.
• Understanding of data tables and databases.
• Ability to use AI ethically to streamline workflows.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a team setting.
• Experience collaborating with internal deal teams and external consultants/lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Support non-recourse construction debt, term debt, tax equity, and cash equity financings.
• Assist in structuring, negotiating, and closing financings.
• Participate in due diligence, modeling, documentation, and funding of transactions.
• Work with Excel-based project finance models across origination to asset management.
• Maintain standardized project finance models across multiple projects.
• Implement financing terms in model templates.
• Communicate underwriting standards to stakeholders and reflect them in models.
• Develop relationships with external capital providers to improve cost of capital.
• Represent the project finance team on internal project teams and discussions.
• Prepare updates on transaction status, risks, and benefits for leadership.
• Advise development team on anticipated terms and assist with new acquisitions.
