You will draft and negotiate energy offtake agreements including PPAs, VPPA, ISDA/EEI, and REC arrangements, advising developers, sponsors, investors, utilities on renewables and storage projects. This role offers front-line exposure to cutting-edge energy deals in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 9 years of law firm experience.
  • Significant experience with renewable energy, energy storage, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience negotiating PPAs, VPPA, ISDA, EEI, REC, or energy commodity transactions.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative energy practice.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate energy offtake agreements (PPAs, VPPA, REC, ISDA, EEI).
  • Advise developers, sponsors, investors, utilities on renewable energy and storage projects.
  • Structure and negotiate energy commodity and trading agreements (ISDA, EEI).
  • Collaborate with project development, finance, and M&A teams on energy transactions.
  • Provide strategic commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle.
