Job summary

ARM Group LLC is seeking a Civil or Environmental Project Manager with land development experience to join our renewable energy practice. In this role, you will manage land development projects for renewable energy installations, working at the intersection of sustainable energy and environmental compliance.

The successful candidate will collaborate with out multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, geologists, CAD designers, and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive solutions

Qualifications

• PE license required in PA, MD, VA, or mid-Atlantic state(s).
• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited school.
• 5+ years in land development permitting/design.
• Experience with stormwater management and NPDES permitting.
• Knowledge of state environmental regulations and local permitting authorities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and budgets.
• Experience presenting to stakeholders and at public meetings.
• Experience managing vendor and client payments for cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage development, design and permitting of multiple projects in the Mid-Atlantic.
• Prepare and review engineering designs and permit applications.
• Maintain schedules, coordinate subcontractors, manage people and materials.
• Monitor progress and communicate with stakeholders.
• Assess and mitigate project risks; proactive problem solving.
• Perform QA/QC evaluations and check calculations and specs.
• Prepare detailed models and technical documents for stakeholders.
• Evaluate feasibility based on site/building constraints.
• Assist Business Development and Marketing with detailed technical proposals and RFPs/RFQs.
• Prepare reports, client communications, contract documents, and coordinate with partners.
• Manage project financial performance: invoices, budgets, revenue projections, profitability.
• Present projects at public meetings/hearings and represent ARM at industry events.
